Ground Zero worker still feels like attacks 'just happened'

(09/10/10) THE BRONX - For at least one Bronx Ground Zero worker it still feels like the Sept. 11 attacks just happened.

The tears flow freely from Morris Park resident Gabriele Pacino as he recalls the Sept. 11 attacks.

Mr. Pacino came to America from Italy at the age of 14 and became a plumber. The day after the attacks his union asked for volunteers to help with Ground Zero clean up efforts. Mr. Pacino spent only a week in lower manhattan, but those days changed his life.

He now cannot work because of various health problems and says he still has nightmares about what he saw.
