THE BRONX - A Bronx nonprofit group held an anti-violence basketball tournament Saturday near where a woman was killed in a shooting over the summer.

Jessica White died trying to save her children from being shot near the playground of the John Adams Houses on Westchester Avenue.

The Lead by Example & Reverse the Trend organization held the tournament on Tinton Avenue where coaches say the only thing kids should be shooting is basketballs.

"We give them something to look forward to, so we give them hope," says community activist Antonio Hendrickson.
