Group van service not coming to the Bronx

THE BRONX - A group van service for commuters affected by bus cuts is not coming to the Bronx.

The taxi and limousine commission's Pilot Van rideshare project is only starting out with five lines, three in Brooklyn and two in Queens.

The vans will charge a flat fee as low as $2 per passenger.

The Pilot Lines will start around August 16.
