THE BRONX - Gun shows are facing scrutiny in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.

Four gun shows, about an hour away from Newtown, Conn., have been canceled recently.
 
Organizers say the shows weren't appropriate just weeks after 26 people were killed at the elementary school.
 
Also, a show in Saratoga Springs has agreed not to show military-style weapons and high-capacity magazines like those used in the Newtown tragedy.
