THE BRONX - Police are searching for several gunmen after a violent 48 hours over the weekend in the Bronx.

According to investigators, the first reports of gunfire were for a double shooting on Tinton Avenue Friday night that killed Tyrek Singleton and wounded a second person.

In the early morning hours Saturday, cops say another fatal shooting took the life of Pablo Pagan, a father of three and active Little League volunteer who was hit in the head outside his Vyse Avenue home.

In a third shooting on Westchester Avenue Saturday, police released surveillance video of two suspects who they say are wanted in connection with the death of 24-year-old Marco Castillo.

The final two incidents happened Sunday starting on Boston Road and Conner Street at around 7 a.m. where authorities say 38-year-old Julio Ortiz was shot in the torso. A 20-year-old was the last weekend victim to be shot in the leg later that night, but he's expected to survive.

Despite the spike in weekend shootings, crime statistics citywide remain down overall for 2013.

No arrests have been made in any of the cases.
