THE BRONX - A group of volunteers are painting a better future for residents in Marble Hill.

People from across the tri-state area are lending an artistic hand as part of the Habitat NYC Brush with Kindness program, which aims to give back to local communities one paint stroke at a time.

The group will be hard at work painting seven rooms and plenty of hallways at the Marble Houses Community Center until Nov. 24.

Habitat NYC CEO Neil Heatherington says he's especially happy to donate time to the Bronx.
