THE BRONX - A Bronx resident who was born in Haiti is using his artistic talent to bring attention to his quake-ravaged homeland.

Beckson Ganiche, 22, is producing a hip-hop record dedicated to the people of Haiti. Ganiche says his family on the island nation is safe, but he felt inspired to record the song after seeing the mass suffering that followed last month's earthquake.

Ganiche, who trains at a Stratford Avenue boxing gym, also organized a food and clothing drive there.
