Haitian pop star performs in the Bronx

THE BRONX - Haitian singing sensation Emeline Michel performed a free concert today at Jacobi Medical Center.

The more than 300 attendees say they were thrilled to have the Haitian star perform. Many got autographs and asked Michel to return.

Since 2009, Musical Connections, a program of the Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall, has partnered with Jacobi to offer free concerts and musical workshops on the campus.
