THE BRONX - A health program in the borough is using cooking demonstrations to help fight disease.

Urban Health Plan Inc. set up a demonstration kitchen at the Simpson Pavilion as part of a hands-on pilot program.

The goal is to teach those with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, asthma and hypertension how to eat healthy while savoring the flavor.
