THE BRONX - A group of Bronx students has returned from Haiti after helping to build an elementary school.

The students visited as part of the 'Build on After School Program,' which aims to teach high school students the value of their education and encourage them to become global citizens.

The students stayed with a host family, giving up comforts such as cell phones, electricity and clean drinking water.

The community is working to complete the school within eight weeks.
