Hip-hop fundraiser aims to take down gun violence

THE BRONX - In an unusual combination, hip-hop artists and Lincoln Memorial Hospital are teaming up to take down gun violence.

The Guns Down, Life Up! campaign will feature a number of hip-hop artists spreading awareness about gun violence, something the doctors at the hospital know all too well.

Doctors at the hospital say that it never gets easier treating all of the gunshot patients.

The fundraiser will take place at the Paradise Grand Theatre on Friday.
