THE BRONX - The holiday rush has set in at the Hunts Point Terminal produce market.

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving is the busiest day of the year for the Bronx terminal, which serves as the main distribution point for almost everything New Yorkers will eat this holiday season.

Officials say about 30 million pounds of cranberries, sweet potatoes, squash and other produce staples are being trucked out of the market and to local grocery stores just in time for Thanksgiving.
