THE BRONX - Temperatures remain below freezing today in the Bronx and the Red Cross has tips on how to heat your home safely.

The Red Cross says all potential fuel sources should be kept at least three feet from space heaters. This includes clothing, paper and bedding. Space heaters should also never be left unattended and should be shut off before leaving the house.

Stoves and ovens should not be used as a heat source, as it can be hazardous.
