THE BRONX - Police are investigating a home invasion that left one man dead on Decatur Avenue.

According to police, an unknown number of suspects forced their way into the basement apartment around 11 p.m. Friday. Neighbors say they heard a number of gunshots coming from the apartment. When police arrived, they found a 25-year-old that was shot several times. Police say the victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Residents say the neighborhood has changed for the worse. Many safe they no longer feel safe.
