THE BRONX - Bronx residents expressed their dismay Tuesday over a proposed 14 percent hike to their water bills.

Homeowners gathered at the Bronx Library Center at a forum organized by the New York City Water Board, which gave Bronx residents an opportunity to air their grievances.

Bronx residents say they simply can't afford the hikes.

"Get your hands out of our pockets," says Evelyn Rodriguez. "I mean, we are paying enough with everything else."
