Hostos Community College hosts 'Occupy The Bronx' protest

THE BRONX - Members of multiple "Occupy" groups throughout The Bronx descended on Hostos Community College to come up with a list of demands as a unified "Occupy The Bronx" group.

"Occupy The Bronx" participants have been protesting in the borough for nearly a month.

Today, the protesters worked to find solutions for issues like poverty and unemployment that have been plaguing The Bronx.

The protests, which took their inspiration from "Occupy Wall Street" in Manhattan, began at Fordham Plaza and have grown in the past weeks.
