THE BRONX - Hot and humid weather continued Wednesday in the Bronx.

Residents sought relief from the heat in cool, air-conditioned places, including the Green Apple Supermarket in Pelham Parkway.

Because of the influx of business, the supermarket offered deals on many items, like a gallon of Poland Spring water for just over $1.

The owner of Green Apple says that he also saw an increase of delivery orders because of the heat.

The muggy conditions are expected to stick around for the next few days.
