FORDHAM - Hundreds of Bronx residents attended the Bronx Health and Wellness Summit today at Fordham University.

The event offered residents advice on how to live healthier lifestyles.

Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. organized the event and says he was inspired to do it because the Bronx has some of the highest rates of obesity, diabetes and asthma in the state.

The summit's keynote speaker was Dr. Max Gomez, a well-known medical journalist.
