THE BRONX - More than 300 New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residents attended a heated meeting in The Bronx to demand action over deplorable housing conditions.

Residents from across the city shared horror stories about crumbling walls, leaky pipes and infestations of mold as NYCHA officials listened. Tenants say they simply want better living standards for their families and for housing officials to start making changes.

As the meeting came to an end, NYCHA officials promised the crowd that they would share the stories heard tonight.
