THE BRONX - Hundreds headed to the water this weekend for the annual Riverdale RiverFest celebration.

For a fifth straight year, families enjoyed live music and fun activities for kids at the College of Mount Saint Vincent.

The event isn't only about having fun, but also about getting continuous river access for people in the area.

Organizers say they're working with local leaders on a greenway plan that would connect the Hudson River in Manhattan to the Old Croton Aqueduct in Yonkers.
