THE BRONX - Another Bronx school has been added to the New York State list of "persistently dangerous" schools.
I.S. 190 on Crotona Park East is among 11 other schools in the state named to the list by the Education Department for the upcoming school year. Three other schools in the borough are also on the list.
The schools are labeled persistently dangerous if they have six serious incidents for every 100 students for two years in a row.
In order to be removed from the list, the schools have to demonstrate a two-year improvement in crime statistics.
