BROOKLYN - Brooklyn residents today found out their new basketball team won't be changing its nickname when it settles into Kings County in 2012.

The team will continue to be known as the Nets, minority owner Jay-Z announced during a news conference across the street from where the Barclays Center is being built.

Jay-Z also revealed he will perform "one, two, maybe three" times at the Barclays Center. Dates haven't been set.
