THE BRONX - After 35 years in business, a popular Riverdale restaurant says it is being forced out of the neighborhood due to the skyrocketing price in rent.

Owners of the Blue Ray Restaurant on Johnson Avenue say that they can no longer afford to pay their rent. They say Friedland Properties has hiked up the rent by 5 percent each year.

News 12 The Bronx reached out to Friedland Properties, but hasn't heard back.
