THE BRONX - An interfaith prayer service was held Monday night in memory of the four people who lost their lives during the weekend's Metro-North train derailment. 

Those who attended the vigil also offered praise for the first responders who rushed to the scene to help the more than 60 people who were injured.

The victims killed have been identified as Jim Lovell, 58, of Cold Spring; James Ferrari, 59, of Montrose; Donna Smith, 54, of Newburgh; and Kisook Ahn, 35, of Queens.

Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio publicly offered his condolences to the families of the victims, relating his personal connection to the Hudson Line where the deadly accident took place.

Gov. Andrew Coumo also spoke about the derailment, vowing in a statement that his administration will work closely with the National Transportation Safety Board on the investigation.

The governor added, "The lives that were lost are a stark reminder that protecting the safety of all New Yorkers must be our top priority."
