Investigators: Boy abused at psychiatric center

BRONX - State investigators are looking into allegations that a 14-year-old boy was sexually abused at the Bronx Psychiatric Children's Center.

The bipolar boy came to the center for help with his condition, but was instead allegedly sexually assaulted by an employee and another patient, said Sanford Rubenstein, the boy?s attorney.

Investigators said they had substantial evidence the boy had been abused. Neither the boy nor his mother's name is being released.

The mother of the victim has filed a $20 million lawsuit against the state.
