THE BRONX - Building records show that a Bronx homewhere a fire killed a 12-year-old boy and his parents yesterday had been illegally subdivided.

The fire began around 3 a.m. yesterday at 2321 Prospect Ave. Christian Garcia, 12, and his parents were killed. Neighbors say four bedrooms in the home were each rented out as separate apartments.

Consolidated Edison says it cut off power to the building about two weeks ago because it had no record that anyone lived there.
