Investigators examine City Island fire

THE BRONX - Firefighters battled a blaze for two hours Monday morning at a home on City Island.

Authorities say the fire broke out at around 6:45 a.m. at the home on City Island Avenue.

Officials say the majority of the fire, which started in a deli, affected the second floor of the home. Investigators are piecing the facts together to find out what caused the fire.

Three firefighters were treated for minor injuries, but are expected to recover.
