Investigators probe Morrisania mosque fire

THE BRONX - Investigators are searching for the cause of the mosque fire that broke out Thursday night.

The 166th Street Islamic Cultural Center was destroyed by flames during the final days of Ramadan. Investigators are looking into if the fire could have been started in a neighboring grocery store or from an exhaust fan in the basement of the mosque.

Representatives of the mosque say they are ready to clean up the streets and that they will still worship outside.
