Italian pride celebrated at Bronx festival

Bronx residents celebrated their Italian pride Sunday at the annual Ferragosto Festival on Arthur Avenue.

Thousands of people came out for the celebration, some from out of town, for the homemade food, music and fun activities.

THE BRONX - Bronx residents celebrated their Italian pride Sunday at the annual Ferragosto Festival on Arthur Avenue.

Thousands of people came out for the celebration, some from out of town, for the homemade food, music and fun activities.

People at the festival said the delicious food keeps them coming back each year.

This year was especially important for the festival, as Arthur Avenue celebrated its 100th anniversary.
