THE BRONX - A Bronx hospital is asking residents to roll up their sleeves and help replenish low blood supplies.

Jacobi Medical Center is holding a blood drive for a second straight day in an effort to help all New York City residents.

Recent extreme weather conditions forced New York Blood Center to cancel drives across the city, leaving some blood types below minimum emergency safety levels.
