THE BRONX - Bronx residents today are mourning James Gandolfini following his death in Italy.

Gandolfini was vacationing in Italy when he reportedly had a heart attack and passed away Wednesday. The father of two was known best for his role as Tony Soprano on "The Sopranos."

The series was set in New Jersey, but the show filmed all over New York, including in Mario’s on Arthur Avenue.

Owner Joseph Migliucci put a picture of Gandolfini on the wall after scenes were shot in the restaurant back in 2002. Migliucci says the TV star was a nice guy.
