THE BRONX - A Jeep traveling on Southern Boulevard crashed through a guardrail on the overpass above East Fordham Road and dangled over the edge.

Seven people suffered injuries related to the crash. A piece of the guardrail fell onto the road below.

Five of the victims were taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital, three in serious condition. The remaining two refused medical attention.

Investigators say the cause of the accident remains unclear.
