JFK butts heads with Lady Rams in playoff rematch

THE BRONX - The Manhattan Center Lady Rams took sole possession of second place in the PSAL AA division with a 55-50 win over JFK.

JFK ended the third quarter ahead by four, but the Lady Rams outscored the Lady Knights 21-11 in the fourth quarter to come from behind and win.

"It was a pretty big loss," said JFK's Veronica Ruiz, who scored 14 points. Ruiz said her team made too many turnovers and needed more rebounds to win.

The home loss for JFK was a rematch of last year's PSAL semifinals. Prior to the game, Manhattan Center had lost to JFK in four straight contests.
