A group of JFK High School students made use of a day off from school by giving back to the community. The teens had collected

THE BRONX - A group of JFK High School students made use of a day off from school by giving back to the community.

The teens had collected items for Hurricane Sandy victims, including canned goods and clothing, and dropped them off during their Veterans Day holiday at a firehouse on White Plains Road.

The donations will go to people in both The Bronx and Queens.
