CITY ISLAND - Ten years after the famous Jimmy's Bronx Cafe closed, owner Jimmy Rodriguez is returning to the borough with a new restaurant.

City Island is the newest location for Rodriguez's Don Coqui chain of restaurants. The Puerto Rican restaurant will be open seven days a week and will feature live music and karaoke.

Rodriguez's three children will be running the business and Rodriguez says he'll oversee what they do.

Don Coqui City Island is scheduled to open to the public early this week.
