NEW YORK - The candidates for New York City mayor squared off for their second debate Tuesday evening.

Republican Joe Lhota and Democrat Bill de Blasio spoke on a variety of issues including stop and frisk, affordable housing and education.

The two will meet for a final time on Oct. 29.

Election Day is Nov. 5.
