THE BRONX - The man accused of murdering a livery cab driver in the Bronx earlier this month appeared in court Tuesday.

The hearing for Nicholas Sanchez was repeatedly pushed back after he hired a new attorney.

The new lawyer requested more time to interview his client during the appearance Tuesday.

Sanchez has pleaded not guilty to shooting and killing Mamadou Barry.

The judge scheduled another hearing for next week. Sanchez will remain behind bars until then.
