Judge upholds Espada's bail

THE BRONX - Former state Sen. Pedro Espada Jr. walked free tonight after a judge decided that there was not enough evidence to find Espada violated the conditions of his bail.According to prosecutors, Espada was allegedly involved in draining $600,000 in liquidated assets from the Soundview Healthcare Network.Espada claims he's had no involvement in the operation of the nonprofit since being found guilty of stealing from it.
