THE BRONX - Some businesses in the borough are gearing up for a big day Sunday with the Bronx Dominican Day Parade.

The Kasike Mofongo House is already hosting events and preparing for the celebration, which rolls down the Grand Concourse each year.

The bar says that since opening its doors four years ago, it's seen revenue increases of up to 40 percent in the week leading up to the parade.

Around 1,000 clients are expected while celebrating their Dominican pride this year.
