The abandoned Kingsbridge Armory could soon be turned into a cycling mecca. The National Cycling Association (NCA) presented its plan to install a new velodrome

THE BRONX - The abandoned Kingsbridge Armory could soon be turned into a cycling mecca.

The National Cycling Association (NCA) presented its plan to install a new velodrome in hopes of bringing a six-day bike racing event back to The Bronx, where it originated more than 50 years ago.

The NCA says it also wants to incorporate free youth development cycling programs for young people throughout the borough and the city.
