NEW YORK - The city urged all residents to find out their status for National HIV Testing Day.

Testing was available at any of the city's 11 public hospitals.

Health officials say that the test is easy, with results ready in just a half-hour.

Nearly 1.2 million people in the U.S. are living with the virus, but one in five of them don't know it.
