Lambert Houses resident complaining about building alarm

THE BRONX - A resident who lives at the Lambert Houses says an alarm has been sounding continuously for two years in the elevator room outside her apartment, and she wants it off.

According to Cheneise Carey, she has to sleep with ear plugs because of the noise.

Carey says that she would move, but because she suffers from multiple sclerosis, she cannot.

Carey says she has contacted her landlord and the city, but no one has done anything about it.

She just wants the alarm silenced so that in case there is a real emergency, she'll know.
