THE BRONX - The second annual Latina Women's Gathering brought women from all over New York together in the Bronx on Saturday.

Women shared their ideas and experiences to help unite and empower the Latina community.

"If we divide ourselves, we lose a part of our culture," says Aislyn Munez, who volunteered at the event.

The Latina Women's Gathering featured a panel of speakers, as well as local vendors selling women-made products like jewelry and pottery.

Yoseli Castillo, a volunteer and activist, says the event was an opportunity for women to "enjoy each other's company, talents and ideas."
