THE BRONX - Supporters of Lehman High School had one last chance to plead their case to education officials before they decide its fate.

The Department of Education (DOE) hosted a public hearing so that they could hear from parents, students and faculty, and explain why the failing school should be phased out.

Lehman is one of eight Bronx schools facing a phase out. A final vote on the future of the schools is scheduled for March 11
