Lemoyne women's lacrosse trounces Manhattan

(04/16/07) THE BRONX ? Lemoyne sent the Manhattan women?s lacrosse team to their fourth-straight loss with a 20-4 trouncing Sunday.

The Jaspers were hoping to snap their losing streak in order to keep their MAAC tournament hopes alive. But the Lemoyne Dolphins came on strong out of the gate. An offensive barrage put Lemoyne up 10-1 at the half.

Lemoyne?s defense stifled the Jaspers, while their offense kept pouring it on. Amanda Keegan helped lead the offensive outburst with six goals on the day. The Jaspers eventually went down 20-4.
