THE BRONX - Sunday marks the official opening day for thousands of Little League ballplayers around the city.

Kids stretched and prepared for their big day at Tremont Park during a beautiful, sunny day. The first pitch was thrown at noon.

The players from all over the city have one thing in common: they all just want to play some competitive baseball.

Little League games will continue to be held every Sunday throughout the summer.
