Livery cab driver robbed at knifepoint on Trinity Avenue in Morrisania

THE BRONX - Cops are after a man who they say robbed a livery cab driver at knifepoint.

It happened on Trinity Avenue in Morrisania at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to police, the suspect was picked up at 1755 Bruckner Blvd. and taken to 1020 Trinity Ave. where he threatened the driver and stole his belongings.

The suspect is described as being Hispanic, in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 180 pounds.

The driver was not hurt.
