THE BRONX - A livery driver was robbed at gunpoint after picking up a potential customer in the Bronx, police say.

The incident happened on Feb. 17, at Bruckner Boulevard and Wheeler Avenue around 7 a.m.

Police say the driver first picked the man up in front of the Chase Bank on Boynton and Westchester avenues, but after driving away the fare pulled out a gun and demanded cash.

The livery driver handed money over to the suspect before he got out of the car and ran away. 

He is described as being 5'5" tall, 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and tan-colored pants.
