Local church struggles to rebuild after fire

THE BRONX - A church in Castle Hill is struggling to rebuild more than 10 months after it was vandalized and set on fire.

The Glory of Christ Church Sanctuary on Ellis Avenue was vandalized and set on fire earlier this year. The church has been rebuilt but members are struggling to provide hot meals to the community because their kitchen has not been redone.

Church members say Mutual Insurance has not filed their claim yet. The company declined to comment on open cases.
