Local Good Samaritan goes on pothole patrol

A Bronx Good Samaritan is taking matters into his own hands and warning drivers about potholes along borough roads.Sidney Flores says he patrols the streets

THE BRONX - A Bronx Good Samaritan is taking matters into his own hands and warning drivers about potholes along borough roads.

Sidney Flores says he patrols the streets after work every day with at least one orange cone in his car. When Flores spots a pothole, he sometimes places a cone or caution tape to warn drivers about the danger.

He says he has marked about 25 potholes in the area and less than half have been filled by the city. However, he does see a change in how people drive around the dangerous potholes.
